[ENG] Deathwatch (Fanfiction)

I think you remember the last contest of the Black Library. The topic was: Deathwatch.

I was at the begining of the year, and I think that the time was enough for saying that I'm not a winner, maybe neither a finalist. Well, I was very motivated but this things happens. I didn't want the tale to be forgotten so I bring it for you to enojoy it! It just the part that was required for the contest but if you like it, I will write a short story.

Untold

Pulse fire passed just a few inches from his head, his reflexes had saved him twice from the fire of the Rail Rifles, his storm shield once. Tau had formidable technology, their pulse and rail rifles were formidable weapons, and even the toughest vehicle armour cracked against continue fire of these weapons. Many iron beasts had fallen against the continue fire of the Tau weaponry. They resist some impacts but after a few more they explode just as easy as a human head.
He gets into the next room and closed the door. He had all the information that was supposed to be found in the military facility and now he needed to get out of there. As a Sky Warrior the natural way would be through the enemy corpses, slicing their bodies with his axe and busting the Tau’s skulls with his storm shield. If he died in that way, there will be no shame to feel.
But now that was not possible.
He needed to find the way to get out of there and gather with the rest of the team, at the indicated place, and in time.  All the information about this new machine should be gathered, and all the facilities must be destroyed.
He breaths heavily and then starts to run against the next door, breaking it with his own inertia and his storm shield’s energy field.
‘Morkai’s teeth…’ slightly said to himself. He finally reached the large fuel-storage tanks, the ones he was looking for but there was a little problem. No wait out, only a long panoramic window and then a gorge.
He stops to think for a moment, just a couple of seconds. The sound of the xenos steps was getting louder inside his ears, just a minute or two before they enter the room. He smells and confirms. There were different scents but all with the same stinky aroma, Tau. They will not suppose a problem for his axe but time was running, and there were battle-suits in the facility so it would be only matter of seconds before being surrounded.
It was just a hit and run operation. The ones that Naaran Batar, the White Scar, liked. He will challenge him again after the mission, they had a pending match. For Russ honor, he thinks.
He slings his axe on his belt and takes the melta charge, ten seconds at the timer. And then he runs.
Ten, nine, eight.
He runs directly to the window.
Seven, six.
He finally sees the Tau Battle-suit emerging in front of him.
            Five.
As the window broke into pieces, he turns his torso a few inches.
            Four.
The feeling of his skin burning in pain makes him show his fangs in an angry reply.
Three.
A rage howl rumbled across the place.
Two.
Even the hit he runs with all his strength, all his anger, all his wolf-spirit.
One.
He threw the charge near the fuel tanks and at the border he jumped.
            Cero.
